When people say the "blue book" are they referring to the official SAT review book released by College Board or the "The Blue Book of Grammar"? I'm looking into review books to invest in and I already own the Official SAT Study Guide but I was not sure if I should get "The Blue Book of Grammar"? Any tips? Advice? Thanks in advance guys.

The Blue Book is the official book that the College Board puts out each year, which contains prior years SAT’s in addition to other practice tests. It is called that due to it’s distinctive blue color, which it shares with the other official prep books done by the College Board. The Red Book is similar, but for the ACT and put out by ACT, Inc.

The Blue Book of Grammar is not what is being referred to.

Alright thank you so much @observeraffect

Do you know of any good grammar review books? I need to learn proper English grammar, that would definitely be my weakness in terms of SAT material.

You can probably get more help on the SAT Books thread in the main SAT prep forum, than here. Unfortunately, I do not know of any good grammar books. You can find that thread here: <a href=“SAT Books? Do not start new threads. Post HERE! - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>SAT Books? Do not start new threads.
