Thanx, astrina, you are always a big help. By the way, you are joking about the first one, right? Steal?!

- craigslist.com
- put up signs
- use interlibrary loans to borrow them from other libraries
- at the end of the term, go to a class you’ll be attending next and let people know you may be interested in buying their books…then put up signs
- ask your friends if they’d like to sell you their books…if you get more than one for cheap, sell the spares to classmates for MORE money on the first day of class
- abebooks.com
- it’s amazing what you can find on the internet these days…this may or may not be #1

I mostly use #4 since I’m picky and profit off my books anyway. I’ve used #3, 5, 7 and 9 too.

Not buying them is cheapest.
