[Specifically Civil Engineering]
What are the different admissions requirements for undergraduate architecture vs. undergraduate engineering? What do colleges tend to look for?

the basic difference is that the architect is the one who designs the building and deals with the looks of the building (though does need to know about the structure needed). The engineer is the one who signs that the building is safe, and does a lot more with the layout of the structural steel, etc.

in terms of admissions, for engineering it looks good to have taken Calculus and Physics and in general math/science classes; for architects it looks good to have taken art classes and a portfolio is almost always required.
