What is the difference between Math Level 2 and Level 2C?

<p>The old name, "Math IIC," just indicated that using a calculator was permitted. (Once upon a time the SAT Subject Tests in math didn't allow calculator use.) Now everyone knows that a calculator is permitted, so the name of the latest revision (VERY LITTLE change in content) is just "Math Level 2." Some colleges refer to the old test name if they still accept scores from that test for current applicants, or if they don't care to revise their publications over such a fine point.</p>
