What is the difference between Rolling Notification and Rolling Admission?

Basically I think I understand what Rolling Admission is but I have no idea about what Rolling Notification is.

RN has a deadline while RA doesn't have one...

Is that the only difference ?@_@ I am a last-minute transfer applicant and the school I applied to even didn't note that it uses Rolling Notification( I found that on collegeboard). My application is still incomplete while others have already got the acceptance><

Anyone can help me? I'm really anxious... Thank you and good luck to everybody!!!

Rolling admissions means the earlier you apply, the sooner the turn around of your admissions decisions. essentially they are constantly reviewing applications until the class is full…

Rolling notification means they start giving decisions to people after a set deadline (usually stronger applicants first), and they continue to give out decisions until all decisions are out… Sit tight! Call the admissions office to make sure they have received all of your materials. They then review your application in committee. If you are on the weaker end, you may need to wait longer for a decision.

Thank you so much!!! Your explanation is very clear. I really appreciate that!! Since finals are coming, probably I should call and just wait:)

Thanks again! Also good luck^^
