fall entrance, summer entrance, winter entrance, … ?
other than the entry date, are tehre any other differences among those intakes? some schools have the same app deadline for fall, summer and spring; but a different deadline for winter. why is this so>?

<p>fall is always the most competetive. Some school will defer you until the Spring/winter term, which is usually less competetive. Schools with a reg. spring/winter admissions are less competetive usually also. Summer entrance is probably the most rare, since you wouldn't be starting with your classmates. Some schools only don't allow freshman spring/winter admittance, only transfers.</p>
