<p>Level 1 (IC), as the name implies, covers "easier" subjects, ie those typically taught in earlire grades. Level 2 (IIC) goes through pre-calc. The IIC, however, has a MUCH more lenient curve than the IC.</p>

<p>should IIC be a problem for someone doing a BC calc prep class this year.</p>
<p>By that I mean it is about 75% precalc, 25% calc and it is intended that you go directly to BC Calc next year...</p>
<p>Also, I heard that people take IIC are crazy geeks and actually compress the curve in the higher score regions, is this true (unlikely) or a load of crap...</p>

<p>You can take IIC after Algebra II/trig. It would be the best to take it after or during Precalculus.</p>
