What is the difference between US history AP test and the US history subject test?

Differences such as the test format, how its graded, and the difficulty

Test is all multiple-choice, you will get a score between 200-800 based on how well you do and on the curve, and the difficulty is significantly easier since it tests your knowledge in high-school level U.S. History.

I've heard different things.
Some people say that SAT II US History is much easier since it is only multiple choice...
But then others say that it is harder in a sense because the multiple choice questions are asking for more detailed things than the AP US History test multiple choice questions.

I'm taking both this May.

I got a 690 on the SAT II for U.S. History vs. a 4 on the AP Exam. Biggest differences? The SAT II doesn't have an essay, which is awesome. And you can take the SAT II again if you screw up. No such luck for the AP Test... >.<

u can take a AP test again next year if youre not a senior lol

You can? 0_0
