Hello all, I was recently accepted as a Spring transfer student into the economics major (COLA) at UT. I am currently a business major at my current university, but since UT doesn't accept transfers into the business school for the Spring semester, I had to apply for economics. My question is, what are the curriculum and the courses like in the economics department at UT? How is it different from other majors offered through McCombs or an undergraduate business school? Are there still good job prospects and career support? UT is my dream school, and I'd like to go there in the Spring, but I really have no idea what it's like to major in economics. Also, I probably have too many credits at this point to make an internal transfer later on a viable option.
