So I think it is better for YOU to be upfront now rather than trying to hide the incident. I really think so. Start now with an honest mindset and accept the consequences, which may not be harsh at all. You will feel better over the next few years if you deal with this now rather than pushing it behind you. Good luck!
I am being upfront, all my colleges that Iāve already applied to have been informed, and Iām going to tell future ones if I transfer. The initial point of thread was to essentially figure out if I could still get into my dream school even thought I screwed up first semester senior year either as a freshman applicant or transfer.
*future ones if they have a section requesting that info.
None have yet rescinded.
Assuming none do and you applied only to schools that excite you then you are golden.
We all err. Learn from it.
Realize you do poorly is better than to cheat.
And move on.
If u get into your top choices then great. If not the world wonāt have ended.
It looks like the admissions people so far didnāt even notice, or didnāt care if they did. Not all high schools are draconian enough to put that on a transcript. Thatās just my opinion Ultimately, itās outside your control. All you can do is what you can do. Answer the questions honestly, and see what happens. Thereās a lot of factors that go into competitive admissions, and itās impossible to know if this is going to be a factor or not, I suspect it probably wonāt.
