what is the hardest and easiest AP?

In reference to the class and AP test, what do you guys think is the hardest and easiest

I'll start(from hardest to easiest):

Literature
Government and Politics
Language and Composition
Chemistry
Physics
Calculus
Biology

I'm only looking at the popular ones. Please add if you wish.

Of course, it's all relative to one's strengths and weaknesses...

That being said I would say Physics is the hardest of the list and Language is the easiest, from what I've heard.

I think the history ones are generally easy. Euro, US, Govt

Psychology is among the easiest, especially if you have a strong biology background.

Art History and Chemistry are tough.

You should add AP Statistics to your list if your school offers it. It seems to be one of the popular AP's that students take. It should be less difficult than the AP Chem/Physics/Calc courses.

AB Calc is easy, BC is hard. Chemistry is hard, Biology is middling, and Environmental Science is pitifully easy.

From the general opinions I hear, euro is impossible, calc ab is hard, language and literature are kind of easy, psychology is easy, american history is medium.

It's all relative to what one's strengths and weaknesses are....

It does depend on weaknesses and strengths, but I think that Art History/ Music Theory/ Chemistry are the hardest three. Psychology and Human Geography are the easiest. European History isn't as bad as some say it is, especially because it isn't as specific as U.S. History. I haven't taken Government, but it seems easier than History.

From my experience (least to most difficult):

Environmental Science
U.S. History
AB Calculus
English Language

English Literature

Chemistry

yeah...chemistry sucks.

i think the only consensus on this thread is that chemistry sucks

hey! chemistry is awesome...

I've heard that the ap chem exam isn't very hard.

I have heard, though, that the AP Physics C, AP Eng Lit, and AP Euro exams are quite difficult

From personal experience, I've found AP US History to be the hardest, but most if not all of my peers disagree.

Meh, I used the opinions of others because I can't judge. I got straight 4's for European History , Psychology, US History, & English Language & Composition. XD

I'm currently looking at the free responses for Physics C, though. There is always one easy question which is calculus related, and then the next two are freaking impossible. Ditto for biology... one easy question on the experimental method or evolution and the rest are harder than a diamond.

Easy: psychology, government, statistics, environmental science, human geography
Hard: physics C, CS AB, chemistry

if you think about it all AP tests are kind of easy

you answer 1/2 the questions right and you still get a 4

thats 50% and failing a college course but still getting credit for it.

Easy - Literature, US History, Biology
Hard - Chemistry

i'm going to have to completely flip your list.

easiest: Lit, Gov (both of them), Lang, Psych

hardest: Chem, Physics C

A so-so one for me was APUS. There was just so much reading material and I had a horrid teacher so it was basically self study. I did okay (4) but I was slightly annoyed after looking at the amount of work I had put into it.

Easiest: US History
Hardest: Calculus, Physics B and C

db123, I was also disappointed that I got a 4 instead of a 5 on US History. Last year, I even got a 720 on the subject test.

the worst part was that after taking the test, I thought I had gotten a 5; there were 2 multiple choice ?s I didn't know. I guess the essays got me but I thought I did well on those. Who knows.
I never received my scores in the mail so I had to call my school for my scores. I had to beg someone and the woman was like 4 on APUS! And I said "oh." in a very dejected tone but she somehow thought I was rejoicing. she was more excited than I was.
