any math FTW. a subject's boring-ness contributes greatly to how hard it is. If given the choice between math homework and watching paint dry, watching paint dry would look VERY attractive to me. it simply doesn't get any more boring than teh maths.

hardest=physics for me. Math + science? = DOOM

Most boring= definitely math. I am never going to use calculus in the workplace or in my future career field. ever. And I highly doubt I would want to have an intellectual conversation discussing the definite integrals of imaginary numbers or whatever the heck else there is to talk about in math

physics is the most interesting when it gets to the really theoretical stuff like the big bang, relativity, black holes, quantum physics and all that good stuff

chem is the most boring, molecular structures of atoms are lame and tedious, with the exception of what crosses over into quantum physics

^^i guess that's true, some of the experiments are interesting esp. with all the theories and such. now, chem is definitely a subject I despise...(i'm not a science person at all)

Science sucks. Biology was my only B. cringes

Any math.
I've actually made it a part-time job to avoid any math class like the plague. But I've switched my major to computer science and need to take an armful of math courses...

I found Physics the hardest, because I barely got a C on it. Anyhow I don't really think there are boring or hard classes per se, it all depends on the teacher and his or her teaching abilities.

Biology is the hardest. average test grade in class was 56%, no curve.
Calc+Physics= easy although i think they curved it too much. calc average test grade was 64% and 62% respectively.

microelectronics =(.

Sociology ["soce"] can get really boring for me because I tend to be interested in only small topics.

Some people (me, and I think many others on CC) like math. Some people find it easy (it depends on the level). But any subject can become very deep, and when you do something like Categories in Math, a casual "understanding" will not do - it is a sport in some ways; you have to practise. That said, again, there are indeed people who find it easy.

Anyway, the ability to do something often compels you to do it, so I think there are a lot of labels and cause-and-effect scenarios accounting for why many people find a certain subject difficult and/or boring. For example, I'm fine at Chemistry, but I have said, in silly exaggeration, that "I want absolutely nothing to do with practical Chemistry."

well let me edit myself and say microbiology & genetics. i just rounded that to biology

+1 to biology. math can be fun sometimes, like stats.

When I first started college I was put in Intro To Sociology and found it to be very hard because I was not used to writing essays, but by the end of the quarter I had an A- in it. Other than that anything to do with Math is hard for me......

I personally, hate theology. I went to a private catholic school when i was young, because my overbearing grandma paid for it... until my parents divorced. BEST THING EVER!!!... eh go figure, i'm going to a private jesuit college...

Religion is the hardest & most annoying subject. It always stirs up adversity and chaos when ideas differ.

hardest: math
easiest: history

switch w/e siglio said

Anything can be pretty simple with a good teacher. If the teacher is horid, than I can't learn and always end up teaching myself.

i like theology

Hardest: English, History
Easiest: Math, Engineering
