What is the least popular major/school at USC?

I am applying to USC as a freshman, and I was wondering if the major you chose has an effect on your admission. I would think it does, because I looked at the application and if you are applying to the music school or art school you have to provide supplements. Also, I've heard the business school is hard to get into, and I might want to do business.

I don't really understand how this works..if I say I'm interested in a less common major, won't they more likely accept me? I was wondering what the least common major/school is. The list is here: Academic Life - USC Undergraduate Admission

hon, dont apply to a school/ major that you have no actual interest in, in order to try to “game” the system! There are certain majors, such as those you have mentioned[ art , music and Cinematic arts], that are highly competitive AND require evidence of real talent in order to be accepted into those depts. You CAN apply as undeclared and then declare your major once you have taken some classes and have focused your interest on a particular area. USC understand that many students DO change majors once they are in college.

Apply for the school/major you actually want to pursue. There is no point spending 4 years and a quarter of a million dollars studying something you don’t really want to be studying, even if USC is your top choice school.
