My high school stats are my biggest worry. If I can stay consistent, what chances do I have?

I would like to add that I am active in 2 clubs.

Since you are currently a freshman, your high school GPA and test scores will matter a lot more. I am not sure about Syracuse, but the other colleges appear as reaches. Mainly UPenn and Northwestern.

Alright then, so to prevent disaster, should I apply to CSU like SDSU?

If you say that, I feel like I have to take summer classes. At this rate, I am very hungry to do well. I need to do well at everything.

You do not have to necessarily apply to SDSU if you do not want to. You could always wait until you are a sophomore so you can transfer as a junior. If you do that and continue to have a good GPA, then your chances will increase and your high school stats will not be looked at as much. If you really want to transfer now, maybe see if you can retake the SAT and/or the ACT and write a compelling application to overlook your high school GPA.

A transfer to SDSU requires 60 semester/90 quarter units Junior standing, so you would need to stay another year at CSULB or consider a CCC. SDSU likes local CCC transfers, you are better off doing at least your 2nd year at an SD local CCC to help your odds.
