I am an international student and have been given a chance to go on an exchange program at Yale. However, I could not find any undergraduate management modules to fulfill my major requirements. Yale SOM caters to only MBAs and pHD candidates only.

where can I find the closest match to management modules if they do not provide such subjects? ( i am already taking psychology modules )

yup i understand Yale does not have an undergrad biz program. I’d just like to ask what are the closest substitutes (other than psychology/economics) for the management modules that I ought to be taking.

There are a few courses here and there that might arguably be relevant to what you’re looking for: a Political Science course on “Global Firms and National Governments,” focusing on foreign direct investment; a couple of courses in Operations Research focusing on quantitative approaches to operational decision-making (pretty math-heavy); a course in Environmental Studies on “Management and Environment.” But these all skirt around the central questions in management studies. I agree with those who say you’re probably better off going elsewhere.

DunninLA : it’s not mandatory, i was just thinking there may be related electives that trickles down from SOM.

bclintonk : thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check them out.

by the way, for those who are schooling there right now - any recommendations for “hot/interesting” modules in cognitive science / freshman seminar programs? ( alternatively i’d be happy to know what -not- to take as well… haha ). :)
