What is the Lit SAT II like?

but i did get and 85% on an AP test....???

Lobzz, give it a shot. As long as it is 500+ - it won't hurt you. But practice before.

I'm an international, never read a novel in english and got 740 on Lit, 660 on CR. It wasn't particularly hard and some of the passages were fun to read. Make sure to learn literary terms (apostrophe, stanza etc.) and do some practice tests.

@ Alone, a 550 would definitely hurt you, depending on the school to which you're applying. The vast majority of schools that request or require SAT II scores are the most competitive of all, and anything below 650-700 looks very iffy. Look around CC, there are people with 750+ considering retaking tests.

^ I think I saw some supermoderator post that 500+ score is better than no score at all.

If your score requires that many scores, then a 500+ is better than no score at all.

I found Lit to be just fine, as long as there're no poems written before 1700, sometimes when I finish reading Shakespear's sonets I think ***? I don't understand a word! But I was really lucky: I didn't get Shakespear on the actual test

Is the test more comparable to CR on SAT I or AP English Language Exam (Multiple Choice)?

^ the latter. 10char
