What is the lowest ACT/SAT score he should have to consider himself a premed student?

*He said that a student should have a war chest of 8-10 thousand dollars to apply to medical school…$3,000 for application fees ($100 times 20-30 medical school applications) and 5-7 thousand dollars to travel to interviews that you would hopefully get. I was pretty shocked. *

Wow…good to know…

My friend’s son only applied to 5, got into 4 (including Yale). He got rejected by a mid-tier one for some odd reason. ???

I had no idea that a person should apply to 20-30. I think my H’s niece only applied to 3 (big mistake!!!). I thought 8-10 might be the right number. Now, I know.
