What is the lowest SAT an URM ever gotten?

Just wondering ????

Why does it matter? Just so you could say, “The only reason that kid got in was because they were a URM…”

Out of curiosity, what’s a URM?

Underrepresented minority.

The same minimum score, 200, applies for all races.

With grammar like this: “What is the lowest SAT an URM ever gotten?” I don’t suppose you’ll do well on the writing section.

Mr Tubbz got into USC with 1800+ on SAT I but he is at Stanford now. I believe he is first generation.

Check the basketball team…

NCAA=NAACP

JK man they dont do that stuff anymore its percentages at USC are fair

Ok USC Moms…here I go:

I do not know what your point is in asking this question. As phrased it is both racist and grammatically incorrect. If your intention is to ask, “What are the lowest SATs that anyone received and gained admission to USC?”, that is a legitimate question. (Although the question is rather pointless since many facets to an acceptance/rejection.)

If you are serious because you have an issue with race and admissions please talk to a counselor, college or psychologist. If you are a ■■■■■ and want to provoke a racist response from someone: get a life or a shrink.

yay, ellebud!

…I guess that there are times that I don’t play well with others…oh darn

ellebud- i just love the last sentence of your post #8 haha

Ok…Ok…I took a deep breath. If you are a URM and you have questions about your application to USC I will try and answer your question. USC seems to take many things into consideration when determining acceptance. Yes, it seems as if they prefer high SATs, for EVERYONE. But, in all cases for all people, they will look at the total picture of each applicant. Grades, location, ecs, special circumstances, special talents all play a part in the decision. But, if you are a URM and you are relying solely on that to get you into any school, it isn’t going to happen.

If you are a ■■■■■ and trying to evoke a racist response from people on this, or any board, my first comments stand.

I think that’s a legitimate question if race64 is honestly just curious. I’m curious myself, and based on the way that he/she phrased the question, I doubt he/she is trying to provoke a racist response. Even if you told me that an URM got an SAT score 500 points lower than mine and got in, I wouldn’t make a racist comment or even be angry. Sometimes other factors can come into play, or things just happen.
