<p>Computer engineering is a more broad discipline that combines EE and Computer Science. That said, computer science goes more in-depth into more narrow disciplines.</p>

<p>Both are very competitive, so there isn’t much point in which is the harder major.</p>

<p>It’s a question of what you are more interested in studying. If you are unsure, you can start out in ECE to try it and switch over to CS (there is some overlap). Make sure you choose a school where you can easily switch between these two.</p>
