What is the Maxium unit limit for admission eligibility?

Ok, so I'll be finishing up IGETC, and requirements for UCs and CSUs. I'll finish up having 94 units, will I be at any kind of disadvantage? I've heard that if you complete more than 89 units, you wont be eligible for transferring! Is that true?

Well it depends,
I hear that if you go to a community college ONLY (and never a 4 yr institution) you can do as many as you want, but they cap you at 70 for how many you can transfer. If, however, you combine 4yr/2yr (cc) then the max is 90, but at ucla it’s 86 and yeah.
That’s all that I remember–it’s weird and confusing. I don’t even get it.
Either way, I did not cross the 90 mark (or won’t be) because I just don’t want to get myself into a weird situation!

Good luck!!!

That pretty much covers it :)
