i heard its chinese ..

i'd say french, spanish are tied, then chinese.

What is the least competitive language in Huntsman?

hey, just a question about huntsman too, sorry for hijacking :)

I double-languaged in Chinese and French my sophomore and freshman years, but quit Chinese to take some science classes in junior year; as for French, I've gone up to the AP level. However, I am a native Chinese speaker so grammar and stuff comes more naturally. I thought about applying for French at Huntsman but I would have to rush my SAT II scores and would not be able to see them, and after going through some student opinions here on the French SAT, people seem to think it's very hard, so I'm a little nervous. I love Chinese and French equally, it's just that I have more academic learning experience with French, but probably a more apt understanding of Chinese.

Which language do you guys think I should go for? :)

^
Chinese, as its nation is the rising economic power.

I'm doing Russian, but since there's no SAT II test - I'll have to take the placement test, and I'm scared haha how it will be like! I'm a native speaker, but I suck at reading and writing xD

And I think the least popular is probably Arabic, except for the international students who come from the UAE or Saudi Arabia.

The least competitive is probably Italian or Portuguese. I'm pretty sure if you have proficiency in French or Spanish they'll let you do Italian or Portuguese.

thanks for your opinion and good luck! So they don't check your transcript, really, just your SAT II/placement test scores? Are there any Penn or Huntsman students here that might know?
