What is the most effective way in correcting the SAT anwers? "reading explanations"

so I normally just read the explanations,I go like oh and wow and whatever. Is this wrong? should I be more analytical when reading explanations? if so how? they're explanation shouldn't we just read them? :o

Good question.

The fact that you are asking it shows that you have doubts if you are studying properly using the explanations.
Let me emphasize two key points on how to use the solutions for problems:

I. You should NEVER read the solution before attempting to first solve the problem.
The reason for this is simple. If you do this, you are not truly testing your understanding on the concept. You should try to emulate the test day experience by first trying to figure out the problem on your own. You should only refer to the solution to confirm your answer and you’ve exhausted all methods trying to figure out the answer.

II. Once you read the explanation, make sure you understand WHY you got it wrong (why your choice is incorrect or what you did not know in order to solve the problem). This way, you avoid making future mistakes in similar problems.

Hope this helps.
Also, please work on your grammar and spelling when posting online - take it as practice.
