What is the most selective college program in the US? Is it Deep Springs, who only takes 26 men? I heard Harvard has a program they only allow 2 people into each year...

maybe juliard...

I was thinking of Julliard too

I third that--Juliard.

I believe the acceptance rate is 3%?

On the US News rankings, I think Julliard has a 7% acceptance rate- but Curtis has a 3%. I don't quite understand that...maybe I misread.

why are you trying to get in to it? lol just kidding :)

If you're going to mention the theater programs like Juilliard, you might as well mention the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon and the CCM at UCincinatti, because they're just as competitive.

I would also think that Deep Springs is very competitive, but really how many applications do you think they get??

Here's the data for Deep Springs.

8% accepted. 26 undergraduates.

I think the most selective is actually the US Coast Guard academy. they only take .... 6 % of their applicants.

ddeep springs is awesome. really.

According to http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/webex/lowacc_brief.php, it's curtis that has the lowest admission rate.

US Coastal Academy 7% acceptance i think.

Curtis and Juilliard (for instrumentals) are more selective than top notch musical theatre schools like CCM, BC, CMU, Emerson etc. I believe Juilliard gets more applications than Curtis, but accepts more. Im not quite sure which is more selective but both are equally VERY selective.

Deep Springs seems like too much work for me lol...it's like all they do is work on a farm...
