What is the point of sending the app now?

They only review applications as soon as they get everything right? (e.g. teacher rec., test score)

They date each part of the application as it comes in. It shows initiative and interest if a student sends in the main part of the application as early as possible.

If you have any interest in going to UMich, you are simply ill advised if you do not submit your application as early as possible, period, no ifs, ands or buts.

Is it advisable to wait until one gets their transcript to make sure that all adjusments and course changes are made before the application is submitted?

For example, I will be dual enrolling this fall, but if I cannot get a certain class to fit in with the schedule then I may have to change it up, which would mean certain parts of my application would be different.

Also does anyone know where to put dually enrolled classes? Because I put the college down as one of the schools but I don't know where to put the class.

what parts of the applicaton should you send in first?

Kinda off-topic questions,
if you send your app in late September, when could you expect a decision?

They say it takes 12-14 weeks for notification. If you send it in now, the first decisions come out around late October.

Wait, we can send our application in LIKE TODAY if we want to???

you can but it wont be complete until you have the recs, test scores, transcripts sent in.

Hmmm.... sending in your app early is definately the safe route, but you are by no means at a big disadvantage if you send it in late. I was a borderline applicant and applied on the day of the deadline -- and was accepted three weeks later. I also know several other people who were in the same situation.

You get the college you took the class at to send your transcript.
