<p>If College A doesn't want you, they have the right to decide whether or not they should even bother College B with your application, and if so, they will forward it to College B.</p>

<p>from what I’ve heard from the adcoms, it’s pretty rare to have an application forwarded from the primary choice admissions group. It’s even more rare to gain admission to the alternative school after being forwarded on by the primary.</p>
