I just recently committed to Rutgers University (New Brunswick) at the Honors College and i’m really excited. I was wondering if there was anyone here who is currently in the Honors College now and could tell me what I can expect?

One of my friends is a freshman at the Honors College. She really loves it and I often see her on Facebook being very active in student organizations, activist groups, community service groups, etc. She was pretty disappointed around this time last year as she really wanted to go to a “good” school, but I think RU really exceeded her expectations. So that’s good

I am honestly worrying the same thing, about whether or not it was a good idea to reject more prestigious schools I was accepted into, such as Boston University. But I knew that this was a better financial investment and I’m super glad that your friend is having a good experience
