UC Berkeley Engineering Schools= 4.52 GPA, SAT=? (should be higher than general admission’s SAT averages)
UC Berkeley General Admission= 3.89 GPA, SAT of 1480

UC Irvine Engineering Schools = 4.27 GPA, SAT=? (should be higher than general admission’s SAT averages)
UC Irvine General Admission= 4.0 GPA, SAT of 1380

UC Riverside Engineering Schools = 4.27 GPA, SAT=? (should be higher than general admission’s SAT averages)
UC Irvine General Admission= 3.92 GPA, SAT of 1270

UC Merced Engineering Schools = 3.85 GPA, SAT=? (should be higher than general admission’s SAT averages)
UC Merced General Admission= 3.73 GPA, SAT of 1160

The UCs don’t look at SATs anymore, starting this year.

UC’s are test blind through the 2025 admission cycle currently so ACT and SAT scores are only considered for course placement, but not for admissions or merit.

UC’s normally do not break out admission stats by major. Only UCI would do this in previous years. Always assume that you need higher stats (GPA for this year) above the average when applying for Engineering at any of the UC’s.
