Does anyone know? I heard that is is 1350(?).

ya i think thats right. i had a 1370 and i got a fairly decent one.

i think it depends on your GPA.. my 1410 and 3.7 gpa got me nothing

You need a 1350 to be considered but they still look at GPA. activities, recs etc

Interesting...

Can anyone else tell me their GPAs/SATs if they received scholarships?

My stats are higher than average and my SATs are in the 1300-range. Do you think I have a shot at $$?

I'm a hispanic, got a 2110 on the SAT and have a 4.0, but was not offered any scholarships.

Have never seen an official "cutoff" anywhere. I think the school weighs everything on your ap & makes its decisions.

It is my third choice.

Congratulations!

I have a 2140, 3.7 UW, 4.1 W at a rigorous high school, and was offered the highest scholarship at USD. Santa Clara didn't offer me anything in terms of merit.

Call them, same thing happened last year to my D and she is a happy camper now at USD. Pepperdine and Santa Clara were the 2 schools that did not come through financially for her. Every other college was quite generous. You can ask for a review. If it had been my D's first choice we would have sent all her other offers and asked for a review.

wat major did you apply for?

what r my chances to find a good scholarship in uni n coll. in texas

Hello,
Iam presently studying in 12. I am expecting a SAT score of 1900+. I play guitar and drums very well. And i have also given Exams in Piano(ABRSM) and received many certificates from london for the same. I managed to secure 8.8 out of 10 in 10th and 88% in 11…
Will i get a good scholarship?
Applying for universities like UIUC, USC, Georgiatech etc.

This is the Santa Clara University section of this forum. The school is in California.

You will probably have better luck finding out about schools in Illinois, Texas, and Georgia of you post on the sections for those colleges. Ditto USC.

If you are askiing about Santa Clara University…I am not an adcom there…but most of their scholarships go to students admitted with distinction…and I don’t think the SAT scores you are presenting as international students would put you in contention for that.

BUT you never know…unless you apply.

But back to my original comment…if you want info about Texas colleges, UIUC, USC, GT, post on THOSE forums. You will get many many more replies from folks familiar with those schools.
