<p>I would think that it is more each college’s courtyard. I say this as the parent of a kid in TD who never lived on old campus.</p>

<p>Like the Harvard Yard, the Old Campus is where commencement is held, as well as big concerts and the like.</p>

<p>Old Campus is the equivalent. But like donnaleighg said, each residential college has its own courtyard which is a smaller scale than Old Campus.</p>
