what is there to do on and off davidson's campus?

<p>Hi, I’m starting to get more and more interested in davidson, but I’m worried that there isnt enough to do outside of school. So, I was wondering what there is to do besides study?</p>

<p>also:

  1. how far away is it from UNC-Chapel Hill because I’m a UNC basketball fan and I was hoping that it would be somewhat closeby so I can check out the games?</p>

<p>it is about 20 miles from Charlotte and a very quick trip in I-77.</p>

<p>Chapel Hill is farther--perhaps about 100 miles, maybe a little less. But if you go to Davidson you become a Wildcats fan. You probably know that Davidson has a great DI basketball program all its own and went to the NCAA tournament in 2006.</p>

<p>Chapel Hill is ~3 hours away, possibly 2 1/2 if you drive fast. Charlotte's about 20 minutes away, and there's lots to do in the slightly closer University area (including Concord Mills). The Davidson/Cornelius/Huntersville area is being developed very fast, an improvement if you like large city amenities.</p>
