<p>...in the summer. What are the things one can get involved in at Berkeley? I am thinking of spending the summer taking courses in Berkeley. However, I don't want to be taking just classes so I'd appreciate if any current students can let me know about exciting things to do on and off-campus ranging from volunteering, researching to good places to visit. </p>

<p>You could volunteer at an animal shelter, get an internship, get a summer job, etc etc.</p>

<p>you can join a fellowship. Read books. Visit SF. There's also alot of good places to eat around here, but I haven't done a good bit of exploring myself to know... heh.</p>
<p>For Research and volunteer, you would most likely have to apply (and that takes time).</p>
