What is this "Dean's List" in my SSOL?

So I was just checking my grades and I noticed I had a "Dean's List" text next to "Term Honors" which wasn't there before. I attempted to Google but I really couldn't find anything about it. Can someone please explain what it is? (I assume it's just a GPA cutoff). Danke!

It is what you assumed it is.

btw, I'm surprised you didn't find anything on google. I tried it out of curiosity and found plenty of results.

congrats you got above a 3.5 gpa in the engineering school for a term,

i think it's a 3.6, or at least it was as of 2006.

i don't know what the equivalent cutoff is in CC.

lol just because I have "asian" I'm in Fu? I'm actually in CC guys...

3.5 in CC/GS, afaik.

No, it's not just because it's there, it's because you spell it "azn" not "asian"

and not just azn, but TRUazn. Just, you know, in case you doubted his commitment to azn-ness.

followed by his social security number, for uniqueness purposes.

I imagine if he were to choose a new handle tomorrow, he might choose differently =)

I'm certain its 3.5 in SEAS....it was never 3.6....trust me...i got a 3.51 in 2006 and got dean's list.

For CC i'm quite sure its 3.6.

CC was 3.3 when I was there. They changed it I think when I was leaving, because like 80% of the class made it at 3.3.

"During each academic term, students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.6 or better in 12 or more points of letter credit in the preceding term are placed on the Dean’s List."

Columbia College Bulletin

And for SEAS

funny, I got Dean's List when I was taking 12 credits.
