"Small School Talent Search Fee Waiver. You have indicated that you attend a school that is part the University of Chicago's Small School Talent Search. Accordingly, no application fee is required."

please explain what this is? This is after i submitted my application online. thanks.

[It means you're in! Congratulations!]*

I have no clue.

Lucky you, it seems that Chicago is particularly interested in recruiting kids from your school, and as a result, you got a fee waiver, and possibly a better chance at getting in. This seems like a pretty good thing to me, but if you're not sure, call the admissions office and ask about it.

I wasn't expecting it at all. Even if they did not offer the waiver, I would pay anyways. But it was a nice gesture.

Since You have just found this out, I would assume that you paid your fee. Call UChicago and explain the situation, they will likely return you your fee. I had to do the same thing for another university.

By the way, where did you find this?

I didn't pay anything. Yesterday online, after I submitted my application, I was going to pay. It turned out that I didn't have to.
