<p>People are constantly rolling of a 3.79 UW and saying 'I know, I know its bad'. Bad? You are getting a lot of A's at 3.79.</p>
<p>I can understand someone saying a 3.5 UW is alright, or something to that effect, but we seem to be a tad number crazed here no? </p>

<p>Over time you'll learn to ignore such comments on this site. The place is swarming with perfectionists of two varieties:<br>
bullies who think anyone with a GPA below 4.0 and SATs under 2370 doesn't deserve to apply to "good schools", and
insecure kids who think their own 3.79 and 2350 are not good enough for "good schools."</p>
<p>Just look past it and learn all you can about applications, financial aid, fit, LAC v univerity, etc. etc. You'll do fine.</p>
