What is vm really like

Could any curent students tell me about vm, I applied not really thinking I would go but I have been offered money and I am thinking about it. A big question would be what is it like on weekend I live far away and would not be going home to much??

In addition my son says plenty to do on weekends either at the Davis Center or
around downtown Burlington. There are lots of clubs and activities to join.
Any airline trip home he takes involves at least one connection so he spent Thanksgiving in NYC with his aunt.

What is there to do on the weekends? Well, there are lots of parties. Pretty much downtown Burlington offers a good amount of nightlife (of the drinking-oriented nature). You have frats, the athletic houses, the party streets of just regular-ish dudes, you have the artsy kids’ parties, you have the basement shows. And there’s lots of non-drinking oriented stuff as well.

It’s a fun place, there are lots of different types of people (not so much ethnically unfortunately…) and lots of different crowds.

It is cold in the winter, though.
