<p>I know that it can disadvantageous for others in the big picture, but how does it harm the applicant who does apply to 10+ schools? disregarding the extra money and time it wastes</p>
<p>Sometimes having TOO many options can put stress on people. Myself, I have a reach, a probable, a safety, and the in state school.</p>
