Just interested to know about my fellow UC transfers.
**
Current : 3.2 ; 3.5/3.6 by time of transfer
58.5 transferrable units, GE completed
Upward Trend
Plan to TAG @ Davis but apply to Irvine via Poly Sci
Complete dental pre reqs as well, head to UOP dental school
**
how about you guys?

Current : 3.5
47 transferable units

Plan to TAG @ UCSD and apply to Berkeley for Cognitive Science
Transferable Math and English are done as of this semester, just have the two sciences left to complete IGETC

Current GPA: 3.71
43 transferable units, 1 science class left for IGETC

Best case scenario, I’ll have about an 3.85 at 65-70 units. Will apply as a Philosophy student to Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD. Don’t have TAG or Honors classes so I suppose I’ll end up going to whichever school takes me in.

@Salmos With your stats you could TAG to UCSD, its not an honors program its a Transfer Admission Guarantee and if you complete IGETC have 60 transferable units and 3.5 or above you can TAG to UCSD, not Berkeley though since they don’t participate in the TAG program.

Ah no foolin? I’ll look into that. I like the UCSD phil. department because it offers some really nice areas of emphasis. I wouldn’t even know which one to choose.

I live in SD also, by the way. Are you trying to stay local or will you aim for Berkeley as your top choice?

Current : 4.0…hopefully still 4.0 when i transfer

56.5 units will have been completed after this Monday.

Will be TAP (Honors) certified by fall 2012

Constant Trend

Primary goal: UCLA Business Economics. Plan to TAG at UCSB for Economics+Accounting major. Also Want to apply to USC and possibly berkeley.

get a biz/accounting job and make bank. after that, maybe get a CPA. or maybe MBA. Or something else. not sure right now.

Time is passing by so slow… 1 more year and it’ll be freedom!!

???

Hoping for a 3.18 by the end of the fall. Hoping to get into chemistry for UCD or UCI.

Current is a 2.02 with a F the first time and a D the second time for Calc I. This hasn’t been a good year for me in terms of the fall and spring semester.

Current GPA: 3.5
only 27 transferable units as of now, but I’m taking two summer classes and a lot of units this fall, so at time of transfer I should have 65.

Im gonna TAG @ UCSD, and apply for Cognitive Science there, Berkelely, UCLA, and probably Merced just in case. I’ve got most of IGETC done, just have an english, and both of the Sciences to do.

I can’t wait to transfer! I just hope I can keep my gpa up where it is… cause im pretty set on going to San Diego.

@pokeprad

ill see you at one of those then. whats your career goal

UC Intercampus Transfer
3.8-3.83 GPA (depending on how fall 2011 goes)
Trying for UCLA, Cal, UCI, UCSD poli sci from UCSB
Got my prereqs done at UCSB (UC reciprocity FTW), and have all major prereqs done at UCLA, Cal, UCSD

@Salmos I want to stay in SD so would love to go to UCSD for their ICAM major but don’t think I could turn down Berkeley on the off chance I actually got in haha

@UCkittychen

I am hoping to get into Pritzker School of Medicine. But from what I recently found out they are going to be reducing their class size. :(

I’m transfering out, 3.1something GPA, 138 quarter units (90something semester, forget right now). I’m in at UC Davis and Irvine, too!

But I’m officially an Aggie ;)

Current : 4.0; ~3.7-4.0 by graduation (I’m guessing).
32 units completed so far.

Plan to apply to Cal, LA, SD, Davis, Irvine, SB, maybe others, as a philosophy major.

-Intercampus Transfer from UCR - Economics
-Current- 4.0 Cumulative/Major GPA (Perhaps 3.9… by Fall 2011?)
-Will be receiving UC Reciprocity
-Plan to apply to Cal, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCSB (But seemingly low chances as I am an intercampus transfer and an Econ major)

3.6 hopefully 3.8-3.85 by the time of transfer. Looking to get into UCLA really bad even as a history major, but I would settle for Economics at UCSD as well. I’m still scared that I would only be accepted to UCR and would have to wait another semister at JC cuz Im not going to UCR, period… lol

Major: Chemistry
GPA: 4.0 with 37 credits.
Reqs left: 3 semesters of calculus, 2 semesters of o-chem, and 2 semesters of calc based physics.

I’m gunning for the 4.0 but realistically I don’t expect to have it by the time all my reqs are done. As far as gpa goes for a chem transfer, where’s the “safe” cut off point? UCLA has been on my mind for years and after I appy next year I want to sleep comfortably knowing that my chances are high.
