I submitted mine on Nov 1. The transcripts should have reached by Nov 1, but post office cannot track them (it was Express Mail!). My status shows incomplete (transcripts missing). If you applied around priority deadline, what does your status show? I can resend the transcripts, but those will be postmarked after the priority deadline. So wondering if it is just processing delay in the admission office in updating the status on the web.

Please ignore my question. The app is now showing complete for review.

What is your Admission Type listed as? My girlfriend's app was done on Oct 31, and it says her transcripts were received Nov. 1, but her Type is Regular Admission, and I'm wondering if it's supposed to say Priority there.

The computer identifies all freshman applicants as "regular" even though you qualify for priority date consideration. The other categories it has do not apply to freshman applicants but instead to "transfer" students applying from other colleges and those applying "non-degree" simply to take a course at UIUC.

sorry for stealing this thread but i released my SAT scores to UIUC 3 weeks ago and on the status page it said it only has my March Verbal and Math scores and my october writing score. I am not sure if thats just a typo or do they legit only have those scores. I am positive that when u release ur scores, ALL scores are sent?

Are those your best scores? My gf also sent in all her scores, but her best were all from June and not her latest October test, so it labeled the scores processed as June scores. UI should superscore for the SAT, which is why they would be split like that.

no they are not, my best scores are a combination of two tests. best math in march, best writing and reading in october. as of now they have my best math score and best writing score, but not my best reading score. but yet theres only one slot for math+reading, so maybe they do have my best scores but only showed the math because of the one slot available for the two?

Yeah, my October test, which was my best in all categories, only shows up for Writing. For Math and CR, there's my March test.

Also, they seem to have just marked my transcript as received a couple days ago, yet the status still says that there are incomplete items. The only things that are blank are the international app fee and the TOEFL, but neither of those should apply...

Cleer, u dont have to worry. I called the admissions office today. They said because there is only 1 spot available for Math + CR, they just stick on a random date. I would call if i were u just to make sure.

They record scores on the site simply to show that a requirement has been met -- that submitting a required test score has occurred. It does not determine what gets considered for admission. However, as to sushi cutter's post above, they do not consider highest subscores from multiple tests. They will use that test with the highest composite. As to status still showing incomplete, if in fact they are showing receipt of all required items, designation should change within a week and if it does not you should call. Likely, it is because they still have to check your transcript to see that you are on track to complete courses required for admission.
