My friend just whats to become rich and have everything?
He went to U of Mich (undergrad) and NYU law school.

I am sure that is not your reason, hopefully.
If you are wondering about me I want to be an engineer (Google)
I am in Princeton (undergrad).
I want to become an engineer because I love computers and using my brain.

It frustrates me when people wants to goes into a field just for the money, not for the joy of waking up in the morning knowing that you are there for the RIGHT reason.

That is maybe why plenty of angry people in the world.

My dream job is a professor of comparative literature.
Study the latest trend in literary theory and launch new waves of critiques against western hegemony is hell a lot of fun! lol
Plus, you got to travel and lecture around the world.

I never grew out of the “I want to be an astronaut” phase of childhood. It's still my dream job. There's the excitement of exploring a new world (the Moon, eventually Mars), the beauty of seeing Earth and the stars from the unique vantage point of space, the fun of floating in microgravity, the thrill of scientific discovery, and the humbling feeling of fulfilling a mission on behalf of humanity. Most of an astronaut's career is not in space; there's also the on-ground tasks of contributing my skillset to NASA, explaining the vision and goals of the space program to people around the world, inspiring others to believe in themselves and achieve their potential, and learning about every single component of the missions I'm assigned to (all the science, engineering, linguistics, photography, international relations, etc.). Being the human face of a program that many people don't understand, and helping them to see why it's of vital importance and how it affects their lives. And the cool factor. :)

I want to become an engineer, but I don't know what exactly suits me yet. I also want to join the Army. I've never grew out of the fascination of combat and firearms and I thought about it seriously before. I think Engineer Officer or Combat Engineer would be my kind of job.

CEO of my own Fortune 500 company/editor of a top magazine/plastic surgeon/high-profile trial lawyer/movie director/album producer

For real though, I want to become the CEO of my own Fortune 500 company. And jet set around the world on important business trips. I want to be successful enough so I won't have any debt after college and graduate school, and so money won't always be an obstacle to things I want to do--like produce a movie someday or create a music album.

Once that's done, then I'll take some time for my own hobbies of tennis and web/graphic design.

If I could rewind my life, I'd be playing soccer at 3 months old and be a professional soccer player when I grow up. Or lax player. If God blessed me with an amazing voice, becoming a singer would be incredible. Creating my own band would be divine as well.

Sometime in my life I'm planning to produce my own movie and create a music album. Not sure how I'm gonna do it, but I'll figure something out ;)

Become well versed in the world of mergers and acquisitions.

Ever since childhood, I've always had a fancy in astronomy and space traveling as well. When I have a solid economic foundation, I want to start my own space transportation and research firm.

And one more point: don't keep it as a dream forever. Work hard, make it happen.

So, Jimmy, AeroEngineer, and I are going to start our own space transportation company. We already have a CEO, an aerospace engineer and an astrophysicist astronaut. Who wants to join us? We need a filthy rich donor and a politician/public relations.

Finding a "filthy rich donor" would be quite hard for such a risky business. However because space traveling is a venture business (lots of potential), we can attract some initial capital by turning it into a corporation and have a public listing. That way money would come by much faster for our little space company and a corp. has limited liabilities if our business fails. Sounds like a plan.

lol And that's why you're the CEO. You've got the business mind. :D

Investment Banker; I want the money. =] How else am I gonna afford my own island mansion with a questionably legally obtained wallaby and domesticated arctic fox (smuggled in from Russia, of course) and a GIANT (and I mean EPIC) ball pit?

Oh, and I'd love to publish a novel too. Maybe paint a bit. =]

I want to be a doctor. I don't know exactly which kind. I'm leaning towards Orthopedic Surgeon.

Why?
Because I don't believe there are enough good doctors in the world. By good doctors I mean loving doctors who give their patients the compassion they need. I know this from experience (my mom has TMJ and girlfriend fibromyalgia, both painful and difficult conditions to diagnose, and have both been shuffled from unsympathetic doctor to unsympathetic doctor) How many times have we all gone to the doctors and felt like a paycheck and not a person?. This world could use another good doctor, it could use me. I want to see little old ladies who are sad and sick and send them away happy and healthy. I want to show them the compassion they need. Haha sorry If I'm rambling incoherently, but I get so excited when I think about being a good doctor. I'll stop now.
