My EFC was 25k, and I think my parents will probably front me the money for my textbooks but that’s it. I took out what I could in unsubsidized loans and the rest is a private loan. I’m not complaining but I’m not happy. :

My EFC is 0. I plan to attend community college the first two years and transfer afterwards. My CC is very affordable, therefore I will recieve $1200 dollars in free money in the form of a refund check due to my tuition being cheaper than the maximum pell grant payout. After I transfer I plan on attending an oos state school to finish my 4 year degree with barely any money owed.

From a curiosity standpoint, in a year I will have 2 children in college; currently with an EFC around 25K, I’m wondering what it will go down to for each child with them both in college. Anyone have experience in this matter? My intuition tells me that it should be the EFC you have for one divided by two.

thanks
