what is your expected salary?

howdy everyone..
This is pretty simple. I want everyone to put their major, there expected degree and their expected salary.

I'll start...
major= radiologic science, bachelors degree, expected salary= around 50,000

ALSO..I know that money DOES NOT matter!!!, im just curious.
everyone should major in what they like and money should not be the reason someone should become a doctor. please do not give me a page on how money shouldnt matter,,I understand that.
thanks.

Well I intern at a recruiting firm and have (repeatedly) snooped through their database to see what their candidates straight out of college up to two years experience would make in NYC and the salaries set by the companies hiring – it seems the consensus a CS grad with a bachelor’s in NYC starts at $60,000 - $65,000.
So I’m hoping for a salary around there.

I haven’t found anything for an ME degree yet, which is my second major, then again, I haven’t really looked. I just want NASA and whatever they pay me, I’ll take.

80k, after I take over the family business… 250k+, after I expand it into a vast conglomerate… 10m+! I have high expectations =]

$1

A la Steve Jobs.

wow, moonnite, what kind of fam business is this??

There’s a financial firm, and the insurance company was just created 2 months ago. My dad wants to do a real estate one next, and his dream is to also create banks one day… But I doubt that will happen in his career because he is retiring in 11 years. So I’ll do that part =D, call me the next mukesh ambani, cuz I’m brown haha

I’m hoping to work for either a think-tank or a non-profit after graduation…so $30,000 would make me extremely happy! I’m only doing that for a few years though - yeay grad school.

$20,000 yearly stipend as a grad student in math

You should throw in the numerous stock options that you’ll exercise for stock and golden parachute deals you’re expected to receive so as to give us a less partial understanding of the money you’ll be making.

$80 billion.

John Dillinger has inspired me.

Major - Math

Expected salary - 30k?

I might drop out of my major and just take some classes that interest me without actually receiving any degree.

I want to be a millionaire by the time I reach 30. I’ll end up doing some type of business related work.

Gooood luck!

Some laughable amount as a stipend while in Grad school then anywhere between $60k and $110k as a Chemist.

After I finish grad school…I might accept 70k to start if the benefits were good, but wouldn’t be surprised if I was offered 6 figures.

Major: International Relations ( possibly Minor: Economics)

Plan to have a salary of $100,000+, but ofcourse that will be after I attend a graduate school/ program for masters or PhD.

Community Health Education, Bachelors, 40k to 45k.

Save for 1 to 2 years go to culinary school.

Then work at a restaurant and also a private chef, 50k to 60k.

Then cafe owner, 70k - 100k ( I can dream ;D )

Do master’s students get stipends? I have only heard of PhD students getting stipends, and that’s on top of free tuition. Hmm… the master’s degree is my most expensive degree.

If I go straight from getting a bachelor’s into the workforce, my starting salary will be about $30,000 (less if I wasn’t in a city) and I’ll be thrilled. If I go through my PhD as planned, my starting salary will be about $60,000 (with lots of potential for more - that’s the lowest I’ve found and I’m not getting too hopeful) and I’ll be fanatic.

seems like going to graduate school, is the best option.

art history
500,000k+

my dad knows a guy…
