the average business major GPA? I mean, at what point does a business major think, "oh ****! I'm screwed with this GPA."

Given the competitive nature of business, I would think that business major GPA's have a higher average than other majors...like anything below a 3.5 is BAD! True? False?

Depends where you go to school and what the curve is.

welll if anyone cares, the average GPA at stern is a 2.7 and if one holds a 3.5 or above it is considered quite a feat.

The average undergrad GPA for new graduate students at wharton is a 3.53. Northwestern(where I would like to go) 3.45. Ross at Mich 3.34 oppossed to Michigans Medical GPA of 3.73. The medical school is ranked 9th and ROss is 10th in their respective majors which just means the medical school is not better than ross. Yet, it still has a higher undergrad GPA

A 2.7 is low...do employers know this about Stern?

i hope so lol, im going there next fall. im sure they realize that stern is a difficult school to excel in

no, a 2.7 at stern is not low. stern has a curved grading system. basically, it means that tehir avg gpa will be lower than schools like wharton, nw, umich. employers know this, or they wouldnt hire stern grads. its hard to get good grades at stern, harder than wharton, nw, umich.
