Chemistry is physics, basically. All sciences can eventually be linked back to physics.

Engineering without much physics? Easy.

Industrial engineering

Software engineering

All the others will have some amount in it. I would say that Computer engineering would be pretty far from it, but it will have some circuits.

Avoid like the plague electrical, chemical, aerospace, mechanical, civil, etc.

actually, if you don’t even know if you like Chem yet, just do applied math and/or computer science. engineering is basically applied physics with a technical speciality.

Industrial engineering, too…

I laughed when I read someone saying that ME has less physics than most other engineering branches. It made my night. In other news, did you know that you don’t have to be very good with money to be an accountant? I also heard that you don’t have to be very good at memorizing things to succeed in med school.

And aerospace engineering has changed a lot in 90 years. It has been found that magic, not aerodynamics, governs the flight of planes.

I’m not an engineering major. But would think that, software and industrial excluded, every engineering field is basically applied physics in a specific area.

You really cannot enjoy engineering if you dislike physics. Sure, can’t say this with real certainty because not in the major, but feel pretty confident in that despite my limited knowledge.

Did you also hear that lately they found that a good bleeding with leeches to case the devil out of you is effective against 97% of all cancers, and most remaining cancers can be cured by prayer alone?

What kind of jobs could you get with an IE major?

I heard Material Eng has less physics and more Chem. Is that true? PO, you might want to see how earth science are. I took physics 4yrs and didn’t enjoy it and regret not majoring in geography or geology later in life. They are right you can’t avoid physics but you seem like you can deal with some physics for me I just hate calculus.
