What it takes to offset a bad SAT?

Do you think being the valedictorian at my community college (graduating next semester with three degrees) and the salutorian at my high school would offset a 2000 SAT? (I did get a 30 on the ACT, but "word on the street" is that East Coast schools like Columbia like the SAT more) Sorry if this seems like a paranoid, unaswerable question, but with four days until ED results come out, my mind is very stressed out.

BONUS QUESTION:
Does anyone have the information about how Columbia divides their regions up for the admissions process?

you simultaneously attended highschool and a community college?

Yeah, my school only offers two AP's...

Just curious: does that make you a transfer student?

For some schools like U of Chicago, yes.

For some schools it depends on your socioeconomic status. SAT is more important for richer kids, and less important for poorer ones. I think it was an article published by PBS about Amherst but im not super sure.
