game day is just awesome.

Our first game day totally blew us away.

Come early, stay late…hang around the quad, cool off in The Ferg, go to the game, go to The Strip afterwards for snacks/meals/whatever.

Game day is an event.

Sigh. DS does not have tix for tomorrow’s game…but there’s always tailgating. :D

His first game is North Texas.

He could still get a donated ticket.

Why doesn’t he have a ticket? Did he put his name on the wait list? If not, he still can and he’ll probably get a ticket.

He’d also be able to buy one off a scalper for around $30 if he waits until 15 minutes before kickoff. Tell him to stand near the steps at the north endzone entrance (closest to Univ blvd). There will be scalpers unloading them as kickoff draws near.

Is there a web cam of the stadium and/or Quad?

^^^

Dang! I don’t think so…there should be! :)

Have your child send a pic/video from their seats using their phone.

I do get mine to send a text or two during the game, too. I think he feels sorry for me :P

I just got a picture and very excited phone call from my D! What a fun day!

There was a text waiting for me this morning when I came downstairs of a lovely view from the student seating area  Have to say that a lot of the coverage this morning left me with a lump in my throat, especially the piece that ESPN did on Carson Tinker. Love seeing all the T-Town Never Down shirts in the stands.
