A Ralph-Nader-Wannabe immigrant from the peaceful land of Canada, looking to major in Physics/Econ/Phil/PoliSci/Math although not really good at science; plays guitar and writes music and studies music theory often. Chief editor of school newspaper although very bad at technical writing. A classic case of INTP (if you know the MBTI test...)

I'm a conservative from an italian family who loves foreign languages and politics. My plan is to travel the whole world eating different foods...yumm..!

I'm an aspiring architect who hates calculus, a moderate conservative who doesn't think it's healthy to be an extreme left winger or an extreme right winger, a voracious reader with no time to read, and a soon-to-be urbanite - I desperately need to get out of my banal suburb (it's suburban for a reason).

"I'm an aspiring architect who hates calculus"

That makes two of us who hate calculus..BLECH! :x

haha. It isn't that horrible; I think I just hate the way my school teaches math (or mandates its teachers to teach math). They don't tie anything together.

i don't get the history channel...oh sadness.

Im the sex-crazed monkey you saw on the discovery Channel.

Im a moderate Chrisitian interested in my religious roots, and the roots of worldwide cults. i enjoy criticizing the Christian Right and President Bush's policies, but am too lazy to actually research them in depth. I dont read New York Times, The Times, or any of the aforementioned literary journals. I think other people are stupid when they disagree with me. I try my best to get along with everyone, but once in a while, some people deserve a smack on the head, or shall I dare say it, a busted can of whoop butt. I like my space, and will get violent if someone intrudes into it. I think brunettes are sexier than blondes. i like girls who are opinionated but don't really see the point in arguing. i enjoy darker weather rather than sunny weather because it makes you think more. I dislike rich, intellectual snobs with a passion. unless they're cool. but that's impossile, so I hate them all.

and i hate calculus.

i enjoy long walks on the beach......of arizona man-made lakes =P

I like The Shins, calculus, Catcher in the Rye, to think, Moneyball, physics, Simon and Garfunkel, pastries, Monty Python and Douglas Adams. I can't decide whether I lean conservative or liberal because I don't really like either side.

I'm also that guy that's not applying to Princeton, though if I could afford anything in the world, it would probably be my second-choice Ivy.

hobbes...finally someone who prefers brunettes and of course you have to be in alaska ;)

about me: i am an engineer with a keen interest in business and a love for politics. i consider myself a moderate, but my family thinks im republican because of my conservative economic views. the artist i have the most music of on my computer is eminem, and i have alot of rap, but i also listen to john mayer, rage against the machine, incubus, and third eye blind.

oh and i live 5 mins out of princeton and currently own an email address @princeton.edu.

yay! I love Simon and Garfunkel and Douglas Adams too :)

mmm, Simon and Garfunkel have brought me through the chilly winter months, and the Shins just really are too cool for school. I loooove them.

what kinda applicant am i? the brevity of this post should do all the talking for me :D

an ultra-liberal socialist/communist who wants to major in poli sci and chinese history.

My friend has a friend (and, given the distance of this relationship, this could very well be fictional) that had to write a college essay to some top school that was "What is your greatest strength? 500 words or less." He wrote, "Brevity."

I always get "Maintain Brevity" remarks on English Lang. essays.... :( I'll now use the above ploy :D

yea those essay gimmicks. i heard of someone who was asked for an essay about risktaking, wrote, "This is taking a risk."

anyhoo ewww socialism/communism. thats like canada. ewwww.

I'm a shark on whiskey whose idea of a good time is a blind woman and some vodka.
