Our school's bell schedule is rather strange. On mondays, we have 6 classes 50 minutes each. The rast of the week is split: tuesdays and thursdays are "maroon days", and wednesdays and fridays are "gold days" (those are our school colors). On these days, we have 3 classes 94 minutes each and a 45-minute study period called "academic lab", where we can do basically whatever we want - do homework, go ask teacher a question, or just chill. So there's 3 classes on a gold day and 3 classes on a maroon day (yay for homework every other day).
Does anybody have a stranger one? ;)

1) We don't have school on Wednesdays.

2) Our school day begins at 7:30 and ends at 4:15. We have a break of about 45 minutes in the middle of the day (Midday) and the rest of the day is broken up to 25 blocks called "Mods"

3) Non-science classes meet every day for either 2 or 3 mods.

4) Science classes meet twice a week for 4 or 5 mods.

5) We don't have class every single mod, and when we have a free mod, we can do whatever we want, as long as we stay on campus. We can go outside, chill in the school, go running, eat, you name it, we can do it.

Those are some interesting schedules.

Ours is pretty simple.

Regular school day:
"Early bird" starts at 6:55 and goes til 7:45
7:40 is the first bell allowing us to go to our lockers
7:50 is the start of 1st hour and it goes til 8:40
We have 5 minute passing periods with a 1 minute warning bell. Our lunch last 30 minutes, one lunch period starts at like 11:30 and the other 12:25. The other classes during those periods have different bells. We get out of school at 2:45. We have 8 periods.

Wednesday is our messed up day. We have activity period starting at 2:20 and goes til 2:45. Sports cannot practice during this time. All of the periods except for the lunch periods and 1st hour are shortened. We still have all of our classes during the day.

WOW!
You guys make mine look so simple. well kinda

We have lettered days A B C D E F G.

Homeroom 7:34-7:37
First Period 7:40-8:23
Second Period 8:27-9:09
Third Period 9:13-9:56
Fourth Period 10:00-11:07
Fifth Period 11:11-12:34
HS Lunch 1 11:11 - 11:36
HS Lunch 2 11:40 - 12:05
HS Lunch 3 12:09 - 12:34
Sixth Period 12:38 - 1:20
Seventh Period 1:24 - 2:07

The letters just determine which period goes first. Like if you have english period 1 than on A day it is first, B day last, C day 2nd to last... ect. ect. Thats how all the classes are. Also one period a day is
called long period (the 4th that day).

The lunches are weird too. Fifth peroid is lunch period and depending where your class is determines which "wave" you eat, 1st, 2nd or 3rd. The rest of the time you are in you fifth period class.

I hate my schedule, because with it I have no free periods EVER :(! It sucks!!

Mine is so simple, everthing ends on a multiple of 5.
1st - 7:30 - 8:30
2nd - 8:35 - 9:35
3rd - 9:40 - 10:40
4th - 10:45 - 12:20 -
First lunch 10:45 - 11:15 or Second Lunch 11:45 - 12:20
5th 12:25 - 1:25
6th 1:30 - 2:30

Then on the third thursday of every month we have early release.
1st - 7:30 - 8:15
2nd - 8:20 - 9:00
3rd - 9:05 - 9:45
4th - 9:50 - 10:30
5th - 10:35 - 11:15
6th - 11:20 - 12:00

Our bell schedules have been changing every year our school opened. Damn, we don't even HAVE a bell. Anyway, freshman year we started out with 3 classes on odd days and 3 on even days. Sophomore year we had 1st period every day for 45 minutes, then periods 2, 4, and 6 on even days, and 3, 5, 7 on odd days for 90 minutes each, with a 30 minute lunch during periods 4 or 5. (In my case, lunch was before period 4 because I had to walk a block to another school for my Italian class). This year we'll have 8 classes, so I don't know how our crazy principal's going to arrange our schedules.

Ours is pretty simple, bell to be in homeroom is 8:05, 1st period begins 8:15, all classes are 45 min, last bell at 2:56. We have 9 periods (including lunch) and our schedule of classes is different each day of the week.

We have normal schedule on Monday's and Friday's (50 minute classes, 5 minutes between, 45 minute lunch between 5-6, 15 minute brunch between 3-4)

Tuesday is odd block schedule where we have 1,3,5,7 for 90 minutes.

Wednesday is even block schedule -2,4,6- 90 minutes apiece and we start school at 9:25 instead of 7:35

Thursday is Tutorial schedule where classes are 45 minutes and we have a 30 minute tutorial (talk to teacher time, or free time basically. like an extra brunch)

For us we had a nine period schedule of each class being 43 minutes and you have a four minute travelling period between classes. Classes start at 7:53 and end at 2:52.

At our school we don't have homeroom, homeroom is second period, and we don't have early morning classes. (The middle school does, though.) Second period is longer than the rest, due to announcements. We don't have block scheduling. We have days 1 and 2 and the only difference is that on one day you have double period science, and on the other you have gym. Our class periods (there are 9 of them) are around 41 or 42 minutes each and we have 4 minutes in between periods. Lunch periods are 5, 6, 7 and 8. I actually lost the bell schedule, but it looks something like this (the minute values are actually not all numbers ending in 5 or 0, it's just easier to approximate):

7:45 First bell
7:49 Late bell, start of 1st period
7:49-8:30 First period
8:35-9:20 Second period
9:25-10:05 Third period
10:10-10:50 Fourth period
10:55-11:35 Fifth period
11:40-12:20 Sixth period
12:25-1:05 Seventh period
1:10-1:50 Eighth period
1:55-2:35 Ninth period - DONE

The high school gets out earlier than all of the other schools in the district. The elementary schools have schedules similar to this, but later. The middle school has no bells and is now on block scheduling. They also have "early morning" for music rehearsals and extra help sessions.

Actually, my school district might be moving all of the times around for this year. I really hope that they do, actually. They're thinking of starting the high school day at 8:30 instead of 7:45, which means I can sleep later! :)

Tonyt that sounds like mine! We have 9 periods that are about 42-43 minutes. I think the 2 lunch periods are a little longer. We have 3 minutes in between each class. I think the official time is 7:55 to 3:12. We have an assigned homeroom but we only go there to get grade cards & interims & at the beginning of the year to turn in that boat load of paperwork.

My school starts at 8am and ends at 2:30pm. we have 9 periods which are 40 minutes long each starting at 8:30 am.

We had 41 minute periods. We started at 7:25 and ended at 2:22. Yeah, we used weird times, but hey, it worked. There were eight periods. The one difference was fifth period, which was divided up into three. Each third was a lunch period. You got an hour long class during fifth period, which in some rare cases was split up (this happened to me with government). The long period was a good thing if you had science that period, since you didn't need to schedule a lab period. Fifth period chemistry allowed me to take another elective my sophomore year.

7:45 First bell (Get out of the commons.)
7:50 Second bell (We mean it, get out of the commons!)
7:55 Third Bell (Leave those lockers, and haul it to class!)
8:00 Fourth Bell (Fool, you're tardy for 1st period)
8:00-8:15 Channel 1
8:00-8:50 1st period
8:53-9:47 2nd Period
9:47-10:00 Break
10:00-10:55 3rd Period
10:58-12:12 4th Period with three lunch periods
12:15-1:07 5th Period
1:10-2:01 6th Period
2:04-2:55 7th Period

School days are: 9am - 3pm

1 hr classes
5 classes per day
50min lunch

^ those schedules are the weirdest schedules I have ever seen... "maroon days"????????

we have rotating blocks and four different time schedules that are used at totally random times. it's impossible to keep track of it all.

Wow, I guess mine isn't that weird compared to some of these. Mondays through Wednesdays have 45-minute classes & five-minute passing periods, from 7:50 AM to 2:45 PM. 1234567 rotates, but the first block never changes, so whatever class you have first, you're pretty much stuck with that every morning for the rest of the year. Thursdays and Fridays are a little different...

Thursdays (ten-minute passing periods)
07:50 - 09:15 Block 1
09:15 - 09:30 Break
09:35 - 11:00 Block 2
11:10 - 12:35 Block 3
12:35 - 01:10 Lunch
01:15 - 02:40 Block 4

Fridays: Early Day (ten-minute passing periods)
07:50 - 09:15 Block 5
09:25 - 10:50 Block 6
10:50 - 11:15 Break
11:15 - 11:55 Homeroom
12:00 - 01:25 Block 7

1st Period 8:25-10:00
2nd Period 10:06-11:38
3rd Period 11:44-1:44
4th Period 1:50-3:25
6 Minute Class Change
Lunches
A Lunch 11:44-12:08
B Lunch 12:08-12:32
C Lunch 12:32-12:56
D Lunch 12:56-1:20
E Lunch 1:20-1:44

hey (illinois_kid) we have mods at our school too..and I LOVE IT!

My schedule is pretty much exactly the same as the OP's. Haha we even used to call the days "green days" and "gold days" for our school colors, but now people just call them even and odd days I guess.

We also have an extra study period after school but it's optional for upperclassman. And yea it's awesome having homework for a particular class due every other day (except tuesday classes).

I also just noticed that you (dima) live in AZ (I think) where at?
