What kind of programs/internships are there for graduating high school seniors? What did you guys do summer after your senior year?

good threat. im also curious.

are any good summer programs for HS seniors?

Do a Search for "seniors" on this forum, this question has been asked and answered frequently.

iskander: "good threat" lol I agree

right what i meant was "interesting topic"

Get a job to pay college expenses.

Bumping this thread because I'm interested too. I'm applying to the NIH summer research program, but since it's so competitive, there's got to be other options.

Nevertheless, many universities allow its incoming freshman to intern with a professor, but that's just my hunch.

…bump…

What I did was email a bunch of professors at my flagship U. 4/5 responded saying I could do research with them this summer. If you’re into research or want to get into research, you could still do that. (You may or may not be paid.)

Otherwise, get a job so you have $$ !

To add on, there really aren’t many national programs for graduating seniors. You might also be able to find local internships.
