just want to get a sense and maybe prep a bit..

all i think of is the regular stuff like, why come here. anyone know some example questions?

Sample questions:

Tell me about yourself.

What are you looking for in a college?

Why are you interested in our college?

Do you have any questions about our college (you should ALWAYS have a few good questions).

Describe your high school.

What have you liked and disliked about your high school?

Tell me about courses you have enjoyed in school.

Tell me about your least favorite course.

Which extracurricular activities have been most important to you?

What do you like to do in your free time?

How have you spent your summers in high schools?
12.Tell me about a good book you've read recently.

Whom do you consider a good leader?

Tell me about a really good teacher you've had.

Tell me about a not so good teacher you've had (don't go crazy with this one. Be analytical and matter-of-fact, not defensive and attacking).

If you do a search for "interviews" you're bound to find a bunch of topics. I suggest doing that if you want to be exposed to further possible questions.

And always be prepared for the infamous question, "What can you contribute to our school?"

they usually ask things like...

Jim is four times as old as Jerry. Two years ago, Jim was seven times as old as Jerry. How old are they now?

Who was the 17th president of the United States?

What is the squre rooot of 20396?

Then they give you 30 mins to write a four page essay about the causes of world war I.

Have fun!

The question they are TOTALLY going to ask is "Well, do you have anything that you would like to ask me?" This is also the one question that you can not screw up. If you don't have any questions, you look disinterested and it it looks like you haven't done your homework. Make sure you prepare for this one.

bump bump bump

and don't talk about other schools. :) even you're saying that that other school is bad for reasons X, Y, and Z...(and definitely say you like another school...sigh)

my interviewer guy asked a question that threw me off:

"i've asked you questions, and you've asked me some questions. is there anything you'd like to say that i haven't probed into and you haven't had the oppurtunity to say but you think is important?"

i went on this rant about colleges and saftey nets. Not a rant but a blurb. it was not pretty.
