me... nerdy ;D

Also, do your teachers love you or abhor you? Are you considered "popular"?

me... nerdy ;D

Also, do your teachers love you or abhor you? Are you considered "popular"?

Very intelligent, but I think I annoy the teachers with constant comments and such. I’m not popular at all. The other day someone asked me if I was a new student even though I’ve been going there for three years.

Reputation…hmm. Well, I think everyone likes me, in general.

I’m definitely a “smart one”, nerdy I guess, but not as much as some of the kids. I wouldn’t say I’m popular, but I’ve got a lot of friends, and the popular kids generally like me. I’ve never really given much thought to it, haha, but I’d say I’m just one of those people most people like, even though a lot of the popular kids don’t like to associate themselves with the nerds/smart people, they talk to me and all.

Teachers definitely like me.

It’s so hard to give a description without sounding pretentious.

I guess I’m the nerd that everyone likes. Everyone thinks I’m pretty funny. I get along with everyone ranging from comic nerds to gangsters. The “bad kids” like my humor and think its cool that I have good grades. Everyone knows me for being pretty smart I guess. People like me because I’m really chill about grades.im not like the other top 10 people, trying to constantly one up each other. I’m decently popular; I feel like most people in our class know who I am. Most of my friends are either popular or nerds, not much in between. I’m awkward but I manage to be awkward in a confident way, so people look past it lol.

Teachers are always the same. In the beginning of the year some usually hate me. I make a bunch of comments/jokes on everything, and walk around during class talking to people. By the time it’s been a month or so they realize “this guy has an A in my class, he does all the hw, gets high test grades, and answers questions. I’m just gonna let him whatever he wants because its working for him.” The teachers that don’t accept that usually clash with me all year.

I’d like to preface with the fact that I’m not pretentious, there’s just no way to not sound that way in this situation.

I guess I’m the smart guy with incredible ECs and terrible grades, who is finally redeeming himself senior year. I think I’ll at least be in the running for “most involved” this year in the yearbook. The kid who just wants to graduate and get out of high school, but not because he’s a loser, he’s just ready for a new start.

Teachers and I generally have a pretty solid relationship, while there’s a mutual understanding that I’m not going to be their star student.

I’m the girl who is really really smart, president of everything and actually has a social life…some people also know about my incredibly dirty mind haha but yeah i like to think i’m pretty popular/well liked since i’m in charge of a lot of things…i’m also known as the girl who sings jingles on the announcements in order to promote different events i kid you not…i hope that doesnt sound obnoxious lol, but teachers really like me i think bc i’m smart but humble about it? even though it doesnt sound that way here haha,

It does sound obnoxious. You’re that girl.

In my classes I generally hang out with the more ‘popular’ seniors (though I’m a sophomore…) and most of my friends are semi-preppy… I’m acquainted with a lot of ‘popular kids’ and I’m sometimes surprised by how many people know my name and know who I am. I’m generally considered smart and funny I guess, and I’ve been described as the most laid back valedictorian ever haha. I’m kind if a rebel… Just the other day I locked my psych teacher out of the classroom :)… I would consider my self pretty preppy too.

@tennis625. You’re the person no one really likes.

Look I didn’t mean to come off obnoxious which looking back I think I did, but the OP asked for what your reputation at school is and that’s it…sorry you all think I’m that girl or the one no one likes but that’s really not the case. I don’t think I need random people over the Internet insult me considering you know nothing about so I could care less, but just realize that I’m not some b****, im actually a very nice person who is really down to earth I swear

^I was under the impression they were just joking when they said that…

Oh haha awks…I’m a little aggressive right now bc it’s that time of the month…sorry if that was tmi lol

Lol, yea I was, but I think that the fact that you need to justify yourself kind of proves my well constructed hypothesis haha

There’s a difference between justifying and defending yourself just saying… But whatever lets just all be nice lol it’s the holiday season so we should all spread some cheer

I’m not nerdy or anything. At my school we are all geeks, which is why I’m happy my school doesn’t rank or I would be screwed lol. I’m pretty well-known just as the chill kid trying to hurry up graduate like everybody else.

Lol. I’ll have to agree with starktony826.

If you deduce that you sounded pretentious “looking back,” then you knew exactly how you sounded making this post. And I’m fine with that; the very nature of this thread is pretentiousness, but you’re doing nothing denying it. Also, one kid suggested you’re the “girl no one likes.” Way to generalize.

Some things are not meant to be said in normal conversation. That was one of them.

Well obviously, no one “needs” anyone to insult them. It’s usually an unwanted side-effect. Your “swear” also does nothing towards proving you’re a “nice” person, or you’re “down to earth.”

Nice cop-out.

Lol I’m done tennis625, and don’t take anything personally. I just love picking apart other people’s statements.

Now for my rep:

I’m usually seen as the really intelligent guy who doesn’t study for anything, knows too much, has controversial and strong opinions, and argues with everyone. I’m like kind-of popular, as in I talk and hang out with whoever I want to, regardless of their “popularity.” I’m also a “rebel” of sorts, as I try not to play the game of high school social standing and refuse to care about what others think. I also don’t endear myself to every teacher; if a teacher is obstinate, annoying, or a female dog, I make sure to treat them like one (I still get the A though).

So yeah. Out of our top ten, I’m probably the most laid back one, with the biggest hatred of rules. And I know how self-aggrandizing this post is, but I don’t know how else it’s supposed to sound.

@tennis: you sound like one of my good friends who’s our class president , especially with the dirty mind. (That’s a good thing.)

Teaspoons: you sound like this girl I’m tied for #1 with. She is really determined to be valedictorian, and acts like she isn’t, but we all know it’ll kill her if she isn’t. Sorry not trying to be a jerk, just doing my analysis. Tell me if I’m wrong, no hard feelings.

The Nice-Crazy/Weird Acting-Athletic-Funny-Intelligent-“White”-Black guy. Started since high school, hasn’t changed yet. Lol

@logicx aside from disregard of social standing, you and I could be clones haha

@logicx24

While the first half if your post does support your claim that you are argumentative, I still feel like you are kind of a poser. I mean really, how rebellious is college confidential? The fact that you are on here makes me think you are pretty college-oriented mainstream.
